On 25 November 2022, the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta High-End Medical Device Innovation Research and Testing Center was officially established at the 2022 China Biomedical Industry Innovation Conference.

 

The center is jointly built by Shanghai Biomedical Industry Promotion Center, Baoshan High-tech Park Administrative Committee, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Center for Cardiovascular Innovations (CCI) and OCIN Club for Innovations (OCI). The e establishment of the center is an important symbol of opening up the innovation coordination mechanism of the leading industry of biomedicine and promoting the integration of industry-medicine-research, as well as an important support for the accelerated development of the medical device industry in Shanghai and even the Yangtze River Delta
